2. Colgate

For a team that started their season on January 2nd and start in a conference schedule many would believe that the team in those shoes would struggle. But not the Raiders as after splitting their first season against Army they won 11 games straight in route to the second seed of the Patriot League Tournament. Jordan Burns a senior guard from San Antonio, Tx has been a force for Colgate this year as he is averaging 17 points four rebounds and five assists in the Patriot only schedule for the Raiders. Nine out of the teams 13 games have a victory margin of 10 points or more which sets them up nicely going into the tournament. According to TeamRankings Colgate is given the best odds to win the conference title as they have a 65 percent chance to win it all. They are looking to capture their second title in three years.

1. Navy

The Midshipmen as their record shows have been an elite team in the Patriot league this year just like Colgate they only have one loss in conference play and that came against now four seed in the tournament Army which was an 87-78 Overtime loss in January. Other then that hiccup they had a few games postponed in the month of February and closed out the season on a five game win streak heading into the tournament. For Navy they were led by Cam Davis who averaged 17 points for the Midshipmen this year at the guard position. He also leads the team in assists (2.7) and steals (1.5) and will be a key part in the teams success in the tournament.

Dark Horse

4. Army

The only reason why Army wasn't listed as one of the favorites in the conference tournament is because of their rocky finish to the regular season as they dropped four of their last six games. Lonnie Grayson led the Black Knights with 13 points per game along with two steals per game. Watch out of Army in this tournament as they have knocked off some of the top teams in the conference including the top two seeds and like I always say anything can happen in the playoffs.
