Penn State adds Drew Allar to recruiting class

Penn State football had a roaring start to its week as 4-star quarterback Drew Allar committed to the team early on Monday.

The Medina, Ohio, native stands at 6-foot-5 and has a solid build at 220-pounds. According to 247Sports, Allar is the 10th ranked pro-style quarterback in the class of 2022. In his most recent season, Allar threw for 2,962 yards and 26 touchdowns.

Other contenders for Allar included Notre Dame, Louisville, Tennessee, Ole Miss and a handful of others.

Allar will join fellow recruit Beau Pribula in the 2022 recruiting class. Pribula is a dual-threat quarterback that scored a total of 46 touchdowns throughout last season. He committed to the Nittany Lions on August 3 of last year.
